Butler ScientificsAs CEO and Director of Data Science at Butler Scientifics, I lead a multidisciplinary team dedicated to automating data science processes to return analytical power to those who know their business or research best. Our goal is to empower scientists and decision-makers to derive insights independently—more efficiently, more rigorously, and more intuitively—by reducing technical barriers through automation.
Beyond our flagship AutoDiscovery software—an advanced tool for automated exploratory data analysis—we also design and deploy AutoModeler, a robust framework for automating the creation and evaluation of statistical and machine learning models. Together, these tools support our clients throughout the entire data science lifecycle.
Key Achievements:
· Conceived and led the architectural development of AutoDiscovery and AutoModeler, enabling automated exploration and modeling of complex datasets.
· Built a multidisciplinary project team with strong expertise in statistics, software engineering, medicine, biology, and business.
· Established strategic collaborations with over five renowned Principal Investigators during the software co-development phase.
· Successfully implemented the company’s fundraising strategy.
In parallel, I have proudly served as an Associate Professor of Statistics and Data Science for over six years. Teaching is a personal passion—sharing knowledge, guiding new talent, and fostering curiosity have always been central to my professional journey.
